Here's the first recipe.

Smoothie Recipe

Handful of fresh strawberries
Handful of fresh raspberries
1 Small banana
8 Tablespoons of Natural Greek Yoghurt
4 Small handfuls of organic porridge oats
1 Generous squirt of Agave syrup
BLEND AND ENJOY

(If you don't have Agave syrup you can use Honey)

You can drink this for breakfast if you're in a hurry and don't have time to cook

(haven't tried it yet, but I will eventually)

I have some amazing news!

One of my high school friends, (I won't say his name) has an EP out called "Float". The title of this post is like his DJ name haha!

I am sooooo proud of him! Like here he is making music, and here I am trying to become famous on YouTube and the blogiverse!

I am currently listening to his EP on YouTube (which his music will be played in the background of my videos). It is absolutely awesome, and I am not saying that because I went to school with him, or because I think he is cute (which I do but I am over him haha -p.s. I am sending him a link to this that's why I wrote that 'I'm over him part' which I am-). I am beyond proud of him because he is doing what he wants to do.

I remember posting a post about things I would post about, and I said an interview. I might interview him in the future (if he doesn't mind).

Also for now on, in my description box of my videos, I am going to put links to him in there as well.

Anyways that's all. I just really wanted to say how proud of him I am.

I have to wake up early (it's almost 11 pm this posts 3 hours behind my time) so yeah

The reason I put 'Retired' in quotations is because she hasn't posted on her iphone channel in a year and on her review channel in 2 years, but they are her channels, and I am trying to include all of their channels when I do these posts.

Secondly, Justine Ezarik is hilarious! She went to the college that I want to go to (as you all know) for the same major I want to go for (Graphic Design). 

Thirdly and finally the videos I would film with her is a few gaming channels, and maybe some type of challenge or a video where she makes something in a blender!!!

Feeling Sick.

Hey CaliGeeks

(Not gonna write "CalicoGeek here" anymore cuz obviously this is my blog and I am CalicoGeek and I am the only one who runs this blog haha)

The title of this post is "Feeling Sick" because my little sister isn't feeling well right now. I was gonna call this post "Feeling Poorly" or "Feeling Ill" but I thought about it, and was like "Let's just call it 'Feeling Sick'!" Everyone feels sick at one point in time. Whether it's the runs, throwing up and what not. It's not a good feeling, but in a way it is good. It's your body saying "Hey there is something in here that shouldn't be in here. Let's get rid of it!" So out with the bad and in with the new, or something like that. As I said earlier my little sister is sick, I don't like it when she is sick. I feel bad when she is sick. She just threw up... what. twenty minutes ago, and I felt bad. I absolutely hate when she is sick, breaks my heart. Don't get me wrong, there are some good points to when she is sick. Number one is all she wants to do is cuddle. I mean who doesn't love a good cuddle. And that's really it haha! Then there is me. Don't worry I'm not sick (yet, knock on wood). I have a really reaLLY REALLY weak stomach. When I hear someone throw up...I get a tiny bit sick to my stomach. When I see them throw up.... I get a tiny bit sick to my stomach. Same happens when I have to clean it. 

Anyways... It's currently 2:07 AM where I live (this will say 2-3 hours behind this not quite sure why) but I am off to bed (hopefully)

Why I Started Blogging, Vlogging And What Not.

CalicoGeek here and I wanted to take the time to tell you guys why I started my Blog, and everything that has came with it. 

Why I Started Blogging.

There are many reasons why I started blogging.

1) I can post whatever I want, and create a judgement free zone

2) I can communicate with other people

3) I was gonna do it Anonymous, but that didn't happen

4) I can post all my feels on here.

I made a post back in February (I think) about who inspired me to do my Blog. This post is completely different. On here I can pretty much say what I am thinking, and no one will say anything about. Well they will but not to me, but to the screen. Having this blog has changed how I feel inside. If I am ever stressed, I turn to here and post about it. Sad, I come here. All the emotions I feel throughout my life will be expressed here. Whether it be a rant, a story, a sad message, and what not. Some people write down what they are going to post on their blog. I don't. As soon as I open that new post tab, I just let all the feels roll out and onto the keyboard, and I let my feelings take over, then I preview what I have wrote. If I like it, it gets published. If I don't like it, I will go in and fix it.

Snow is really pretty to look at, but come on! I actually read on Facebook that this Christian Radio Station is blaming these OUTRAGEOUS weather outbreaks on LGBT people. HAHA.

Moving Out, A Little More About College, What I'm Thinking, and iJustine

(I am not gonna put "Hey CaliGeeks, CalicoGeek here" everytime)

Moving Out

Moving Out can be very stressful to some people. The college I am applying for has dorms, and I will be living there. The fact that I will be living in the city excites me and scares me. I've always lived in a small water-tower town. The more I think about college the more nervous I get and excited I get.

Thoughts that are going through my mind:

-What if I don't get in?

-What if I do get in?

-Will I do good in class?

-Will I make friends?

Now with these thoughts being said let's break them down a bit shall we.

What If I Don't Get In?

If I don't get in, I guess I'll have to try and try again to get in.

What If I Do Get In?

Then I will be a college student working part-time and doing my best in class

Will I Do Good In Class?

To me I honestly think I will be able to grasp the idea of what they throw at me, and do pretty will.

Will I Make Friends?

This question I'm not quite sure. The reason why I say that is because some people are hard to communicate with, and don't take the time to become friends with anyone. I honestly think I am decent with making friends.

iJustine AKA Justine Ezarik

Justine Ezarik went to the college (not sure if I already have mentioned the of the college or not) that I toured and she graduated in 2004! She went for the same thing that I wanna go for which is Graphic Design. Justine is from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. When the guy at the college told me she graduated from there and now has a book published, and is very successful in the beautiful city L.A. California it fueled my fire even more. My dreams are to have some books published, live in California, become famous on YouTube, and graduate from college. (not in the order haha)

If I get accepted there will definitely be a post and a YouTube video!

Regardless the day when I get a letter from the college I will definitely film my opening of it.

One of the best TV shows ever (in my opinion).

Glee

Glee has just ended after 6 AMAZING seasons! I have only seen the first episode of the sixth season and I can't wait to watch it all on DVD or Netflix. I've watched Glee from Season 1 Episode 1 to Season 6 Episode 1. Every season has had 1-2 episodes that have made me cry.


That's really it for this one haha!


Glee will definitely in my March Favorites at the beginning of April.

Saving Money


Saving money can be hard for people (especially me). I am one of those people who see something they like (like a pair of shoes, that cute shirt from Hot Topic, or even a phone case off of Amazon) and immediately go out and buy it. I know that's not a good thing to do and I am frantically trying to find ways to fix it. As you all know I am trying to go to college, which isn't cheap. Saving money has always been a hard thing for me to do regardless of where I am I will buy something. Whether it's clothes, food, phone cases, knick knacks, etc. I will buy something. CBD Compulsive Buying Disorder! I have CBD and I am living with it. (Little Pitch Perfect reference for ya)


I just wanted to tell you guys about this because ya know I post things that happen in my life.

FamILY

The "ILY" in famILY is and will be capitalized throughout this whole post because the acronym "ILY" means I Love You. FamILY is very important to everyone, right now my famILY is going through a really rough time. It breaks my heart to see famILY fight, and scream, and yell at each other. If anyone in my famILY is reading this (you know who you are) needs to sit down, and talk, and not yell or scream at each other like a bunch of cavemen. It's call communicating. Again famILY is very important even if your famILY is going through a rough time. I don't understand why families act the way they do when they are mad, and some families like to have screaming matches with each other which isn't cool at all.

Some families don't say this everyday like they should so I will say it to all of you who read this...

College

Hey CaliGeeks

CalicoGeek here, and yes I realize I already made a post about college.

But

I am going to talk to my mom when she gets home so I can set up a date to go visit the Pittsburgh Technical Institute or PTI. I am sad I can't make it to their Open House this Saturday, seeing how I have other plans. Anyways some things will change with my life. I plan on getting healthier, go to the gym every morning or every evening, going for walks when I have time, actually becoming a Pescatarian, and a bunch of other things. The person I talk to on the phone from PTI told me I can have fish which I am excited about. I really really really hope that things go well, and I can get accepted.

College Open House

Hey CaliGeeks

CalicoGeek here with a few things to talk about.

1) calicogay.blogspot.com is my new blog I made last night, and it is about growing up gay and I made it to help people who are gay, and want to come out to people. I will be posting on it every Monday since i created it at 12:13 this morning!

2) Colleges and Open House.

Colleges- Colleges are extremely hard to choose seeing how there is so many of them! You have to find one that you obviously like because that's where you will be doing class at, where its located, tuition and what not.

Open House- I personally have only been to one Open House, but I have been invited to another which is at the same college as the first one. I have to talk to the lady tomorrow after work so I can discuss more things, but since I'm here now I will let you all know what I will be asking her tomorrow.

Questions for the college lady-
1) I am a YouTuber, will I be able to film things for my YouTube channel at the open house or not?
2) Is there a gym nearby? (because once I get my car and a DL I am going to the gym every morning)
3) Will I be able to come home every weekend because I am hoping to be able to work at my McDonald's on the weekends and somewhere up there after class?
4) Are you allowed to have pets in the dorms?
5) Job placement for Graphic Design and/or Web Design (the two things there I am interested in)
6) Double major?
7) What kind of clubs do you have?

And

That ladies and gentlemen are a few questions that I will be asking over the phone with her. I will not reveal any names of anyone I encounter there not even my friends that are up there. Unless they say that it is okay.

Long Distance Relationships Or Relationships In General

CalicoGeek here with something to talk about.

Long Distance Relationships (LDR)

LDRs are extremely difficult. Trust me I've been in a lot of them, and just got out of one that lasted a year now the other day. The reason I broke up with him (his name will not be mentioned) is because I couldn't stand not being able to talk to him. He lives in Germany and I live in America. LDRs require a lot of trust in the person, and in yourself. You have to trust them that they won't cheat on you, and you have to trust yourself that you will resist temptation that you won't cheat on them. I am currently gonna ride that single train for a while until Mr. Right comes my way. Being single isn't all that bad. You can pretty much do whatever you want when it comes to like going to bars, clubs, dates, and what not. I definitely do not want to be in an LDR again to much stress to cope with. I'm not saying that LDRs don't work I am just saying that they don't work for me. I'm a person who wants to enjoy the little things with my partner like: one of my little sister's birthday or my mom's wedding, or my birthday, or even just going to the zoo or something like that. In an LDR you can't do that (obviously). When I talk about LDRs I think about like different countries and maybe different states. Some people consider miles to be LDR.

Chores

Hey CaliGeeks!

CalicoGeek with a post about something everyone has had to deal with at least once in their life, and that would be... chores.

We all know what chores are, or at least I hope we all do. I'm 19 and still have chores. Like doing dishes, taking the dogs out for a wee, feeding the ferrets. etc. Some kids hate chores (I for one am one of those kids) I absolutely hate doing chores! Anyways this one is about the very cute boyish type Connor Franta.

Connor Franta is very very cute, and the heartthrob of boys and girls eveywhere! I mean look at him, who wouldn't want to be him, or date him. One YouYuber out of all the YouTubers I would most definitely date is Mr. Franta. Anyways, enough of wanting to date him because it's not possible until I get famous haha. Mr. Franta lives in sunny Los Angeles, California, and for those who know me knows it's my dream to live there always has, always will be my dream until I can make it reality. Connor Franta has two YouTube channels and they are: Connor Franta and MoreConnor. Connor use to be apart of a YouTube supergroup called our2ndlife (o2l), that group also has YouTubers in it named:  JC Caylen, Ricky Dillon, Kian Lawley, Sam Pottorff, and Trevor Moran. The video I would do with Conoor would probably be just a Q&A. 

Anyways got to get off of here for now and do some laundry (I know boring information) then shopping

I publicly vlogged today!

 The reason I say that that is exciting news is because for those who know me know that I get really anxious about vlogging in public or even in front of my family. Don't ask me why I don't vlog in front of my family, because I just don't know. I think its weird because they just like look at me weird like "Why the hell are you talking to your camera? Oh it's that stupid YouTube thing." Honestly that is exactly what I think about when they are in the same room as me and watching me vlog.

Alfie Deyes is Zoella's boyfriend and a YouTuber (obviously you know that). I have been recently watching every single one of Alfie's vlogs on his second channel PointlessBlogTV, and all of his games on his gaming channel alfiegames. Alfie makes some funny videos every now and then not trying to be mean, but every once in a while a YouTuber has a not so good video. I recently just watched his and Louise's video from August 14th, 2014, and I laughed until I cried. I want to meet Alfie because he is one of my inspirations to make my YouTube channel and my blog it would be amazing to meet him in person! The video that I would like to do with him is probably the 7 second challenge.

That's it! Lets see... every Saturday until I reach Zoella I will post one of these up about that certain YouTuber.

Anyways while writing this blog post I am currently watching "Neighbors" with Zac Efron, Seth Rogen, and Rose Bryne for the first time, and I am literally dying right now!
